Let, A can finish the job in x days

B can finish the job in 3x days.

According to the question

3x - x = 60

2x = 60

x = 30 days

B can finish the job in 3 × 30 or, 90 days

In 1 day A can finish 1/30 th job

In 1 day B can finish 1/90 th job

In 1 day both A and B can finish 1/30 + 1/90 th job

= 3 + 1 /90 = 2/45 th

both A and B can finish the job in 1/2/45 = 22.5 days.
